The court closed the administrative case of a Navalny supporter from Orenburg

The court closed the proceedings in the administrative case of the coordinator of Navalny's Orenburg headquarters, Natalya Trubacheva. This was reported on November 20 by Echo of Moscow in Orenburg.

The judge considered the report drawn up against Trubacheva on November 10 to be invalid, and decided to close the case due to the absence of an offense. Then the activist was detained during a solitary picket, which she staged near the building of the Leninsky Court. In Trubacheva's hands she held a poster with the inscription "Independence, honor and conscience to the judges."

A law enforcement representative in court said that Trubacheva's solo picket was not a solo one, because, according to the police, the activist constantly gave instructions on how to photograph her and constantly communicated with people around. The police considered the employees of Navalny's headquarters, who photographed the picket, as participants in the action. Accordingly, the picket itself was not a single one, but a massive one, requiring approval, which Trubacheva did not have. A police officer voiced her ideas about how a solo picket should be held:

According to the law, passers-by and journalists can pass by. Communicating with him, standing next to him for more than 5 minutes, as court practice shows, is already support ... 5 minutes the picketed person talked to someone - that's it, they are together. This is no longer a solitary picket... No matter what they talked about, he must stand alone.

Trubacheva herself explained to the court that the people who photographed her were journalists. The court also questioned them, and they said that they were on an editorial assignment.

The video recording of Trubacheva's detention, provided to the court by the police, was not considered by the judge, considering that the documents for her were improperly drawn up. In addition, for some reason, police officers included in the case an excerpt from a federal television program in which Russia Today editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan reads a poem about Putin and Navalny, stating at the end that “it was paid for with American taxpayers’ money.”
