Journalist Ali Feruz (Khudoberdi Nurmatov), ​​who is in the Temporary Detention Center for Foreign Citizens, is going to be taken to the Basmanny District Court of Moscow to “close the fine.” Pavel Gafarov reported this in the Feruz support group chat.

Police officers came to the journalist and showed him a report on the administrative violation. This is allegedly related to the verification of his employment at Novaya Gazeta. The TsVSIG duty officer told Ali Feruz, “Go home, get ready,” Gafarov reports. He managed to call Feruz.

As of 18:30, it is known that the journalist is not yet being taken to court.

On November 16, police officers from the migration department of the Internal Affairs Directorate for the Central Administrative District came to the editorial office of Novaya Gazeta. They were interested in issues of employment in the editorial office of foreign citizens.
