Passenger transportation on trains near Moscow will become completely private - together with the central suburban passenger company (CPPK) that exercises them and controls them, RBC reports.
The changes will occur before the end of this year: the composition of the company's shareholders will leave the last state structure - the Moscow region, which is going to sell its shares package of 25.33%, dividing it into two parts. The website of the Government of the Moscow Region reports that the starting price of each lot will be 1.04 billion rubles with an auction step of 5.2 million rubles.
Recall that on November 9, Russian Railways OJSC sold for 2.286 billion rubles a stake in the CPC in 25% of the Route Systems (the authorized capital of 10 thousand rubles, was registered in October 2017 and belongs not to associated with the transport business, Artem Olkhovsky).
A half share in the CPC (50% without two shares) belongs to the Moscow passenger company (MPC). It is still unclear whether she will claim to buy a package of shares, which the Government of the Moscow Region has so far.
The central suburban passenger company, calling itself the largest suburban railway carrier of the country, operates in 11 constituent entities of the Federation, but almost all of the passenger traffic (97.9%) is being “processed” by it in the capital region and Moscow itself.
