Access to communication and the Internet achieve the villagers from the remote northern region

During a working trip to the Northern District, the deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Novosibirsk Region Yuri Shpakov held meetings with the inhabitants of the villages of Biaz and Ostyatsk. For numerous appeals at the meeting, we discussed the possibility of mobile communications and the Internet in remote villages, the press service of the region’s parliament reported on November 21.

“The inaccessibility of modern information technologies in remote settlements is one of the most common issues that residents of the Northern District addressed,” the deputy said. - According to the results of the meeting, work has begun to clarify the quantitative list of citizens who need to be connected to the Internet and the service of mobile communications. In addition, in the near future, at a meeting with representatives of Rostelecom, the possibility of installing the necessary equipment in remote territories will be considered. ”

Among the issues requiring operational solution are also repairing the road in the village of Urgul, the North District, water purification in the territory of the Ostyatsky village council, renewal of lighting in the premises of the model library of the village of Biaza and the purchase of sound equipment in the local culture house. All of them entered the plan of deputy work for the future.

A number of issues were resolved on the spot. In particular, a camera was bought at the Ostyatsky comprehensive school, and funds were allocated for the purchase of sports equipment for a group of pensioners leading an active and healthy lifestyle.
