The head of Rosneft Igor Sechin for the third time did not appear for interrogation in the Zamoskvoretsky court of Moscow, where the case of the former Minister of Economic Development Alexei Ulyukaev is being considered, Vedomosti reports . At the same time, Sechin first sent a notification to the court that he would not be at a meeting for a good reason.
The court received a letter from the lawyer of the head of Rosneft. It notes that by the end of the year Sechin’s schedule is “very dense”, in connection with which he will not be able to take part in court. The letter is attached to documents on the business trips of Sechin on the APEC summit, in Sochi and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. The lawyer also notes that Sechin does not object to the announcement of his testimony in court, given the investigation.
Nevertheless, Judge Larisa Semenova once again satisfied the petitions of lawyers and wrote out Sechin the fourth agenda. Protection insists on the interrogation of the main witness. "Thanks to Sichin, we are all here today. The interrogation of Sechin and the interrogation of Ulyukaev, in essence, are most important in this court," said the lawyer of the ex -minister Timofey Gridnev.
At the same time, Ulyukaev himself expressed a desire to testify only after the interrogation of Sechin. Lawyers explained that if Sichin does not appear at the meeting on November 27, the defense will begin the interrogation of Ulyukaev.
On Tuesday, Rosneft spokesman Mikhail Leontyev said that Sechin would not come to the court meeting on Wednesday, as he would be in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug at that time. "In any way, Igor Sechin could not and could not attend the meeting on November 22, because, in accordance with the schedule of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, we accept it at our new facility - the Kondinskoye field, our newly acquired asset," Leontiev said.
Sichin had not twice to Zamoskvoretsky District Court at the hearing in the Ulyukaev case, on which he was a witness to the prosecution . On November 11, Judge Semenova, on the initiative of the prosecutors, wrote out the first agenda Sichin . At the same time, the judge asked if the prosecutor’s office could provide a turnout. “Yes, we will provide,” the prosecutor Pavel Filipchuk assured.
Sechin was to testify on November 13, but did not appear in court . Ulyukaev’s lawyers at the trial said that Rosneft's workers refused to accept the agenda for Sechin from bailiffs. According to the judge, the head of the company was also sent by fax and email. Sechin did not come "for an unknown reason", concluded Semenov. The judge, at the request of the defense of Ulyukaev, repeatedly summoned Sechin to the hearing on November 15.
However, the 15th Sichin did not appear in court. "According to the" Russian Post ", the registered letter awaits the addressee. Who received the fax (the summons directed by the fax to Rosneft. - Ed.), It is unknown," said Semenova. She directed Sichin the third agenda for November 22 .
On November 16, Sechin explained the failure to appear in court by employment of Rosneft's business .
“With regard to my participation in court: I will strive to fulfill the full requirement of Russian legislation in full. But at this stage, my main task is to fulfill my functional duties as the president of Rosneft,” Sechin said. He assured that he would certainly fulfill “all the necessary conditions,” as soon as it can be “coordinated by the necessary graphs”.
