Aleksey Navalny's campaign headquarters coordinator in Kursk, Alexandra Tarusova, was detained twice in 12 hours due to criminal offenses. It is reported by Mediazona.
Tarusova was detained for the first time late in the evening on November 21. The police went to the activist's home and told her that she matched the description of a woman suspected of shoplifting. At the same time, the orientation describes a woman of Slavic appearance with short hair from 25 to 30 years old and a height of 165 centimeters. Tarusova is 19 years old, 176 centimeters tall, has shoulder-length hair and is non-Slavic in appearance. The apartment where the police came, the activist rents unofficially, so few people knew that she was there.
The girl was taken to the department, her passport was taken from her for 20 minutes, then they returned it, apologized and took her home. They refused to draw up a report on the delivery to the police department, saying that "beautiful people are not registered."
On the morning of November 22, on the way to a public transport stop, Tarusova was again detained and taken to the police department. This time, she seemed like a suspected fraud to the police. She was asked to lay out the contents of her purse, and when she lamented that this was the second time this had happened in the past 12 hours, one of the police officers replied that with her work, she “can often turn out to be like someone else.”
