Amur Region: "Begging Budget" adopted by deputies for 2018

Deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Amur Region adopted a budget for 2018 with a surplus of 5 billion rubles. For the sake of this, economic, housing, transport and social programs reduced it. The deputy from the LDPR Sergey Trush called the main financial document of the region "Begging the Begging Budget".

“Everything is built on the expectation of subsidies - we have a beggar budget. We are talking about social orientation, and in fact we are naughty,” Amur.info quotes the deputy.

Deputies from the Communist Party complained of low income from the use of regional property and ineffective spending of funds to the ski base in the village of Natalino.

Governor Alexander Kozlov called the budget surplus conditional. “We must return it - reduce the public debt,” the official said. The draft budget for 2018 also pledged 3 billion rubles for paying loans to banks and 6.8 billion rubles - repayment of budget loans.

In the budget for 2018, financing of agricultural development is reduced by 52%; transport system - by 25%. The costs of social protection, culture and art were reduced. Financing of a program of affordable and high -quality housing will decrease by 46%.

According to the RIA Rating agency, the Amur Region occupies one of the last places in Russia to comply with the population of a healthy lifestyle. The program for the development of physical culture and sports is reduced in 2018 by 30%.
