The Irkutsk Regional Court today left without changing the decision of the Sverdlovsk District Court, who appointed administrative arrests to the coordinator of the headquarters of Navalny Sergey Bespalov and entrepreneur Dmitry Tolmachev (known as Che Guevara).
The judges of the appeal authority found Bespalov and Tolmachev guilty of organizing an unauthorized rally with the participation of politician Alexei Navalny, which took place in Irkutsk on November 4 .
The court examined the appeals of the arrest of Sergey Bespalov. The coordinator of Navalny’s headquarters explained to the court that the meeting of politics cannot be called a public event. According to Bespalov, “an event that an unlimited circle of persons may fall is considered public. We took comprehensive measures so that a certain circle of persons did not get there under any circumstances,” said Navalny’s headquarters in Irkutsk in court.
On the same day, the court examined the appeal of the arrest of Dmitry Tolmachev. The businessman explained to the court that in his private territory meetings with politicians were previously held. For example, in 2010, a candidate for mayors of Irkutsk from the Communist Party Viktor Kondrashov met there with voters and was elected the mayor. But then such events were not considered illegal.

“I want to draw the attention of citizens how rapidly the legislation changes. Gradually you will live in North Korea. If you want this to happen in your country, then be silent further and then nod your head for the chain that is happening,” Tolmachev said to the correspondent of the Siberia. Realities before the announcement of the court decision.
Tolmachev will be released on November 23 (he was awarded five days of arrest). Seven days of the administrative arrest of Bespalov expire on November 24. And Tolmachev and Bespalov intend to further appeal the decisions of the courts.
Today, law enforcement officers called Zakhara Sarapulov to the police, who acts as the coordinator of the headquarters of Navalny. He is also suspected of organizing a meeting of Navalny with the Irkutans. On Thursday, November 23, he, along with a lawyer, should appear at the police department to draw up a protocol on an administrative offense.
