In Ufa, a local activist, a participant in an anti-corruption rally on June 12, Rustem Mulyukov, was prosecuted under Article 280 of the Criminal Code - public calls for extremism. It is reported by Kommersant-Ufa.
According to investigators, during the protests Mulyukov called for illegal actions against officials. According to the publication, the police rely on a video from the rally, in which you can hear how the activist calls officials “traitors who rob you and me”, calls on them to “plant” and “shoot”.
The organizers of the event agreed with the authorities, the coordinator of the local headquarters of Alexei Navalny Lilia Chanysheva and lawyer Kirill Matveev, were summoned for questioning by the police on November 23 as witnesses.
Mulyukov was an observer at the elections to the State Duma in 2016 and, following the results, provided material on violations in the Central Election Commission of Russia and Bashkortostan. Employees of the election commission received disciplinary sanctions for violations identified by the activist.
