"Garage" continues the grant program for young artists "Art and Technology"

Today, November 24, the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art has opened applications for a new stage in the grant program for young artists “Art and Technology” aimed at supporting personal and collective art projects in the field of IT technologies, engineering and Art & Science.

The first stage was carried out in cooperation by SDV Arts & Science Foundation . The new stage of the grant program "Art and Technology" is held in partnership with the BMW Group .

During the year, laureates will receive a monthly scholarship in the amount of 30,000 rubles and will be able to implement their artistic project indicated in the application for participation in the program. The budget of each project should not exceed 750,000 rubles .

Laureates will also have the opportunity to visit the BMW museum , located at the concern headquarters in Munich.

Expert Council of the Grant program "Art and Technology" 2017/2018:

• Anton Belov , director of the Museum of Contemporary Art "Garage";
• Thomas Girst , Head of the Department of International Cultural Projects BMW Group;
• Ekaterina Inozemtseva , senior curator of the Museum of Contemporary Art "Garage";
• Olga Shishko , Head of the Cinema and Media Arts of the State Museum of Fine Arts named after A.S. Pushkin.

Applications are accepted before January 11, 2018 at grant@garagemca.org (the theme of the letter is “grant“ art and technology ””).

The age of the applicant is from 18 to 35 years inclusive .

Priority qualities when choosing candidates are the extraordinary thinking, work with new technologies, the conviction and logic of artistic solutions, the implementation of the declared project and its compliance with Grant budget.

The application must be attached to the expanded description of the project planned for the implementation , accompanying it with a detailed estimate. The term for the project is no more than 12 months.
