“We are talking about preserving and creating (re -) meanings of the place, about the total culture, about the interdependence of the time that is spent on the production of the product, and its quality, about the ontology of the thing and about the materiality of the North. - the organizers report. “Having taken the reference point of the history and needs of local residents, the curators propose to pay attention to the expanded understanding of the culture associated with the aesthetics of everyday, while referring to the initial concept of aesthetic as sensually perceived.”
In the Arctic Art Forum 2017 program, the Conference “Design and Architecture” with the participation of artists, designers, architects, activists, representatives of administrations and universities in Russia, Denmark and Norway, as well as exhibitions, concerts and discussions.
The forum will be the living rooms of the courtyards (Arkhangelsk Museum of Local Lore, November 25) and the tourist complex "Small Karelians" (November 26), informal meetings will be held at the Karlz bar.
