The head of the unrecognized Lugansk People’s Republic, Igor Plotnitsky, against the backdrop of attempts by the coup , due to his conflict with the resignation of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR, Igor Kornet, left his post. Earlier on November 24, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov did not deny the fact of Plotnitsky's arrival in Moscow. At the same time, the Kremlin’s official representative refused to comment on the “situation with Plotnitsky and the LPR”, which was already called “conflict between various criminal groups” in Kiev.

Soon, the Minister of State Security of the LPR Leonid Pasechnik said that Plotnitsky resigned for health reasons. “Numerous combat wounds, the consequences of concussion affected,” he explained.

I also declare his commitment to the Minsk agreements. The republic will consistently fulfill the obligations taken in accordance with these agreements," the beekeeper said.

"The Council of Ministers, the People’s Council of the LPR and other authorities continue to work as usual. For their part, I want to assure the inhabitants of the LPR that I will do everything depending on me for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Luhansk region," he added.
