Recall that Bitcoin overcame the mark of 5 thousand dollars in October, and in early November he already beat his own record, rising above 7 thousand dollars. In the middle of the month, a drop in cryptocurrency began by almost a third - up to 5.6 thousand dollars per unit, but literally three days later she returned to the seven thousandth “psychological mark”. On the Bifinet exchange on November 17, a record indicator was registered - more than 8 thousand dollars per bitcoin.

According to the head of the Russian Ministry of Communications Nikolai Nikiforov, in the Russian Federation there is a prospect of applying blockchain technology , which is used in the “production” of cryptocurrencies, and “various digital tokens” - but the bitcoins themselves will never be legalized.

Nevertheless, in October, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government and the Central Bank by the summer to develop a taxation procedure for companies engaged in cryptocurrency mining. Amendments to the legislation on this topic are proposed until July 1.
