The bitcoin exchange rate during trading on November 26 exceeded $9,000, according to data from the Coindesk portal.
Around 7:15 a.m., the cryptocurrency was trading at $9,043. According to the exchange, by 12:30 (Moscow time), the price of bitcoin dropped to $8,996.89.
Back in early November, Bitcoin was worth $7,000. The growth of the cryptocurrency rate was then influenced by the statement of the world operator of futures exchanges CME Group that it was going to launch trading in bitcoin futures in the fourth quarter of 2017.
The head of the Ministry of Communications, Nikolai Nikiforov, said earlier that bitcoins would not be legalized in Russia.
