The former head of the Moscow anti-doping laboratory, Grigory Rodchenkov, agrees to provide the International Football Federation (FIFA) with evidence of doping in Russian football, reports the Daily Mail, citing Russian lawyer Jim Walden.

“My phone is on, my e-mail is working,” the lawyer replied when asked if Rodchenkov was ready to share the information he had.

The lawyer added that "it would be embarrassing" if the information about doping is confirmed, and FIFA will have to remove Russian football players from the home world championship.

Earlier it became known that FIFA is investigating possible doping violations of 34 Russian football players whose names were mentioned in the report of an independent commission of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) led by Richard McLaren. last week The federation said that it had not yet found anti-doping rule violations by Russian players. However, the investigation continues.

FIFA has previously tried to contact Grigory Rodchenkov.
