The coordinator of Navalny's headquarters in Chita, expelled from the university, filed a lawsuit against the rector

The coordinator of Navalny's headquarters in Chita, Mikhail Fayzrakhmanov, filed a lawsuit against the rector of the Trans-Baikal State University, from which the activist was expelled allegedly for absenteeism. This was reported to OVD-Info by Alexander Andreev.

As the coordinator himself clarified, in accordance with the university charter, they had the right to expel him only in the event of an existing academic debt, but there was none.

“In the general department of the dean’s office and in the submission for expulsion written by my head of the department, they blatantly lied to me - that they allegedly tried to contact me before the submission was written,” said Fayzrakhmanov.

The activist was expelled on November 2 by order of the rector, motivated by missing classes. According to Fayzrakhmanov, the reasons for the absences were valid. Navalny's headquarters believe that the expulsion is connected with the political activities of the coordinator.
