In an authoritarian state, the attitude to the law is a double standard. In the interests of the authorities, criminal cases are initiated on the most incredible reasons. When ordinary people become the victims of crimes or, even worse, dissenters, or people related to vulnerable social groups, after filing an application for the commission of a crime and giving an explanation, a criminal case often does not open up an explanation. Of course, there is a chance that a criminal case will be initiated, but for this you will have to fight very much and lose a lot of time.

In a police state, the police act in their interests, and not in the interests of the people. For law enforcement officers, we are all either “tolerants” or “villains”.
