The executive and general producer of the Seventh Studio, Ekaterina Voronova, who was put on the international wanted list in a fraud case, accused the company's former chief accountant Nina Maslyaeva of financial irregularities and slandering other defendants in the case. “There is and cannot be any evidence of the thefts committed by Serebrennikov, Malobrodsky and me, except for the untrue testimony of the chief accountant of the Seventh Studio, aimed at slandering obviously innocent persons, including me, in order to avoid our own criminal charges.” responsibility,” Voronova wrote.

According to her, in 2014, the company underwent a financial audit, which revealed “numerous violations in the management of accounting documents, operations using the accounting program, payroll, and so on.” Voronova wrote that Maslyaeva’s cash register “deservedly began to be called “black”” and they planned to destroy it after the audit.

The producer noted that in addition to incorrect data and errors in registration, the audit found the signatures of unknown people in the salary slips, as well as the signatures of other employees of the Seventh Studio, including the signature of Voronova. At the same time, the signatories did not remember that they had certified these documents, and did not recognize their handwriting.

“In addition, from the same statements and other documents studied during the audit, I learned that the daughter of Nina Leonidovna Maslyaeva was officially employed at the Seventh Studio. She was paid a salary, whether she actually received it or not, I don’t know, but, be that as it may, “Seventh Studio” paid almost 250 thousand rubles in taxes for her from her current account (which was subsequently reported to me by the new chief accountant),” - the letter says.

The audit showed a large difference between the officially accrued and actually paid salaries of the company’s employees, as well as the fact that different people worked and received salaries in the company. After the audit in October 2014, Maslyaeva resigned from her position as chief accountant of the Seventh Studio.

Voronova admitted that after recording and closing the project, she decided to destroy reports on cash expenditures for three and a half years, and regrets this decision.

Earlier, the Prosecutor General's Office asked Interpol to put Voronova on the international wanted list. According to investigators, she, the artistic director of the Gogol Center Kirill Serebrennikov, the former general director of the Seventh Studio Yuri Itina, Maslyaeva, the director of the Russian Academic Youth Theater (RAMT) Sofya Apfelbaum and the general producer Alexey Malobrodsky organized the theft of 68 million rubles allocated by the state for popularization of theatrical art (Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code).

All defendants in the Seventh Studio case, with the exception of Maslyaeva, do not admit their guilt. Serebrennikov, Apfelbaum, Itin and Maslyaeva are under house arrest, Malobrodsky is serving his arrest in a pre-trial detention center. It is known that the accountant made a deal with the investigation and testified against the remaining defendants.
