Moscow: Ukrainian border guards Dziubak and Matsona were left in jail until February 5

Judge of the Lefortovo District Court of Moscow Elena Galikhanova extended to officers of the State Border Service of Ukraine Igor Dziubak and Bogdan Martsonu, arrested in the case of the illegal crossing of the border, the terms of detention in the pre -trial detention center until February 5, 2018. About the decisions made on Wednesday, UNIAN said at the same time.

Meetings on each of the arrested lasted no more than 10 minutes. In the deliberative room, before making decisions, Galikhanov was left for about 3 seconds.

The hearings were held closed, since some secret materials are supposedly present in the border guards. In such cases, the audience and the press are allowed only to announce the decisions. At the same time, to make a decision on the results of the first of two meetings of journalists to allow, as claimed, they forgot.

It is also reported - as we might assume, according to the lawyer, - that Dziubak at the hearing admitted that he crossed the border for "obtaining information".

The 35-year-old Major Dziubak and the 29-year-old Captain Martzon served in the Department of the “Zno-Novgorod” border border detachment. On the evening of October 3, they went to monitor their border section, and soon the connection with them was interrupted . On the morning of October 4, the Bryanskaya Gazeta, citing the border control of the regional headquarters of the FSB, reported that the officers were detained. Meanwhile, before the emergence of this publication, the Russian side denied the fact of the detention of anyone. The FSB confirmed officially the detention of border guards only in the evening of the 4th.

The Ukrainian side initiated negotiations on the return of the detainees, but the meeting ended to no avail. On October 9, the press secretary of the State Border Service Oleg Slobodyan said that both officers were arrested for two months.

On the 12th, the FSB announced that Dziubaku and Martzonu were charged under Part 3 of Article 322 of the Criminal Code (illegal crossing of the border committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy or with the use of violence or the threat of one), which provides for the six years of the colony.

On October 26, "Ukrainian Pravda" reported that the officers were transferred from Bryansk to Moscow, to the pre-trial detention center-2 of the Central Galovka of the FSIN "Lefortovo", unofficially controlled by the FSB. It was also reported that at that time Moscow, in violation of the bilateral consular convention, did not allow the Ukrainian consul a meeting with the arrested.

On October 30, the same publication placed an investigation of the incident on the border. As reported, in the evening of the 3rd, Martzon told his wife that he would go for a long time at work, got into his car and left. On the way, he picked up Dziubak. The car stopped 10 meters from the striking line. Despite the cold weather, the border guards, leaving the car, did not close the doors and did not put on jackets.

According to sources of UP, in the preceding two months, Ukrainian security forces recorded negotiations of Russians, in which the task was discussed to detain two border guards from a neighboring country. This gave law enforcement officers the reason to believe that Dziubak and Matzon were deliberately abducted, probably with the aim of subsequent exchange.

According to Slobodyan, the security forces, examining the site around the abandoned Martson car, found crushed grass in two places. It was concluded that the Russians ambushed.

The lawyer under the agreement only has Mardzon: the Dziubak family decided that the services of a defender in Russia would be useless. Meanwhile, the lawyer did not talk about the circumstances in which the officers were seized by the relatives of her client. “The lawyer said that according to their rules, he has the right not to disclose information if we do not have Russian citizenship,” said Politsek's wife.

Meanwhile, UNIAN in his publication about the last court transferred with reference to a lawyer that border guards were seized on Russian territory several tens of meters from the demarcation line. What kind of lawyer made such a statement was not specified. In the photo from the court with Martzon, a lawyer-male communicates.

Earlier, the director of the State Border Service Peter Gyphykal said that the border guards were seized during the advisory and representative meeting with Russian colleagues. Such meetings are held directly at the border.

The prosecutor's office of the Sumy region opened the case on the fact of the incident. At first it was qualified under an article on the murder - such a qualification is always assigned to cases opened in connection with the loss. After the information on the location of the officers, the case was retrained to part 2 of Article 146 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal imprisonment of two persons), which provides for up to five years of the colony.
