The non -profit organization of truckers "Association of Carriers of Russia", protesting against the system of charging from heavy vehicles "Plato", is included in the register of "foreign agents". This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Justice.

"The fact of compliance with the organization by the signs of a non -profit organization performing the functions of a foreign agent was established during the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation of an unscheduled documentary verification," the report said.

The Ministry of Justice organized a verification of OPR documents from November 15 to 20, said the head of the NPO Andrei Bazhutin. According to him, the reason for inclusion in the register may be a donation of 250 thousand rubles from a private person from Germany, whose name in the OPR "is not even known".

“We spent this money on mileage. We did not even think that this could somehow influence us,” Bazhutin noted.

In 2015, after the introduction of the Plato system throughout Russia, the rally of truckers began. In April 2016, the Constituent Congress of the All -Russian Association "Association of Carriers of Russia" created by them was held. It included representatives of at least 43 regions of Russia. The congress participants adopted the charter of the public association and chose it as chairman of the St. Petersburg trucker Bazhutin. He was the leader of the protest camp in Khimki and one of the coordinators of movement against the Plato system.

Existing professional associations of drivers did not solve the real problems of truckers, Bazhutin explained the need to create his own public organization. In addition, there are many self -employed among truckers and the union form is not suitable for them.

The main goals of the ODR were the ensuring the development of entrepreneurship in the field of automobile cargo transportation, creating favorable conditions for the activities of its members, protecting their rights, as well as representing the general interests of members of the organization. Nobody will go to Moscow with a pitchfork, OPR will act within the framework of the law, Bazhutin emphasized. In particular, the association of carriers will look for legal and legal inconsistencies in the work of the Plato system, he explained.

On November 1, OPR announced a new strike of truckers . Its beginning is scheduled for December 15. Bazhutin in an interview with Rain said that this time protesters put forward primarily economic and social requirements. In particular, dissatisfaction is caused by an increase in fines in the Plato system, control of weight -gum parameters, and the regime of work and rest.

“We also had such requirements as the government’s resignation and distrust of the president,” Bazhutin noted. “If we talk about distrust of the President, it remains, but this is not a demand. But we have yet removed the government’s resignation, due to the fact that the presidential election is coming and, probably, the Cabinet will still be dissolved.”

The previous strike of truckers passed in the spring under the slogan "You can’t live like that!" The action was held in dozens of regions of Russia. Its participants were detained and subjected to administrative arrests.
