University attack in Pakistan: 12 dead

Five armed terrorists in the turban were opened at a hostel of agricultural university in the city of Peshavar in the north of Pakistan. According to Dunya News, at least 12 people were killed as a result of the attack, another 37 were injured.

Among the victims are seven students, two police officers, a security guard and a journalist. In total, at the time of the attack in the hostel there were about 120 students.

The militants came to the hostel on Motoriksha (covered with a three -wheeled motorcycle). They wounded the guard and broke inside. According to eyewitnesses of the attack, in addition to shooting, two explosions were also heard.

Upon learning of the attack, the Pakistani security forces cordoned off the place of attack and began the assault on the hostel. As a result of a two -hour battle, all terrorists were killed.

The responsibility for the attack was taken by the Islamist group "Technical Taliban Pakistan." The terrorist attack was dedicated to the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad on November 30 - one of the main Muslim holidays.

In October last year, the armed militants of the Islamic State attacked the police school in the city of Kvetta in the west of Pakistan. As a result of the attack, 59 people died.
