On the evening of July 4, a pensioner noticed a man on the street, whom he mistook for his enemy, and followed him to a deserted place. There he shot the victim in the neck and shoulder from the back, and when he fell, he fired a control shot in the head.

Then the pensioner went home. The next day, he learned that he had mistakenly killed an unfamiliar resident of the Leningrad region, who had come to Dno for his mother’s funeral.
