According to the publication Proufu, the suspect is the head of the Department for Economic Security and Combating of Crimes in Bashkiria, Igor Vorobyov. In November, he gained fame thanks to a video in which he gives his wife a Mercedes GLA Klasse worth more than 2 million rubles. The Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that the suspect was fired.
