The leader of the “Corrosion of Metal” group, Sergei “Spider” Troitsky, was hospitalized after a fight with a drinking buddy in his home in the Moscow region, RIA Novosti reports , citing a source in law enforcement.

“In the village of Pogorelki, Mytishchi district, while drinking alcohol together, Sergei Troitsky was injured as a result of a fight with his drinking companion. His opponent and he himself were hospitalized,” the agency’s source said.

According to him, the second participant in the clash has already been treated and released from the hospital. The spider remains in the hospital for now.

The GUMVD for the Moscow Region confirmed to the agency the fact of a domestic conflict on November 30, without specifying details. “As a result of the conflict, two people were injured. An investigation into this fact is being carried out, based on the results of which a decision will be made in accordance with the law,” said the police officer on duty.

In March 2017, Sergei Troitsky returned to Russia from Montenegro, where he was serving a ten-month prison sentence on charges of setting fire to a house in the resort town of Sutomor. In 2015, a court in Oryol fined Troitsky for performing the composition “Beat the Devils,” which was recognized as extremist material, but he was released from punishment due to the expiration of the statute of limitations.
