The Nizhny Novgorod District Court of Nizhny Novgorod arrested the head of the federal headquarters of Alexei Navalny, Leonid Volkov, for 30 days. Volkov wrote about this on his Twitter.
He was found guilty of repeated violation of the procedure for holding a public event (Part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code). We are talking about a meeting-meeting with Navalny on September 29 in Nizhny Novgorod.
Well, I’ve already served about 4 days, so I have 26 left.

It’s funny, Mark is 24 days old today, I’ve been around for more than half of his life. But let's catch up, nothing.
Leonid Volkov was detained in Nizhny Novgorod on September 29, when he went to the police department. Volkov planned to write a statement under Article 149 of the Criminal Code (obstruction of a rally) due to the fact that the police had seized equipment for the rally. They wanted to leave him at the police station overnight. However, later police officers took the oppositionist to the airport and put him on a plane to Moscow, requiring him to appear in court.
At the rally in Nizhny Novgorod, which did take place on September 29, 7 people were detained . Before the event, police detained the coordinator of the local election headquarters and two of his employees.
