Leonid Volkov was arrested for 30 days

The Nizhny Novgorod District Court of Nizhny Novgorod arrested Leonid Volkov, chief of staff of politician Alexei Navalny, for 30 days for calls for participation in an unauthorized rally on September 29. Volkov himself wrote about this on Twitter.

“To admit guilty of part 8 of Article 22 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation and appoint an administrative arrest for 30 days,” the judge said, noting that four days spent by Volkov in the Moscow special receiver will be credited within this period.

As Interfax notes, Volkov arrived in court with his things and even before the meeting, he advised his supporters about his daily transfer to his special -reception of relevant correspondence.

For calls to participate in a rally in Nizhny Novgorod on September 29, Volkov was already arrested. On October 2, the court appointed him 20 days of arrest, but after three days the decision was canceled - the Moscow City Court admitted that the case was considered not by the court.

A few hours after the abolition of the arrest, the wolves were detained and arrested for 20 days in another case - for calls to participate in the All -Russian protests that took place on October 7.
