More than 200 museums in 56 regions of the country held "Inclusions Day" for people with disabilities, their families and all comers

On December 2, museums throughout Russia accepted visitors with the features of mental and physical development, as part of the Museum for everyone! Inclusion Day. " The action is held by the Russian Committee of the International Council of Museums (ICO of Russia) in cooperation with the social project “Wheel of Ferris” with the support of the Sberbank charity fund “Contribution to the Future”.

In Moscow, one of the most extensive programs was organized by Pushkin's Pushkin Mlime. On "Inclusion Day" there were ten events. Volunteers who were preparing to participate in the action helped to conduct them to the museum staff. The morning began with a glider and the last briefing for volunteers.

On Saturday, there are always a lot of visitors with children in the PHMI. Today, a group of twenty -five guys with parents joined ordinary excursions, for whom a deaf guide in the brutal Russian language worked. I have never seen such attentive children on excursions.

Victoria Berlizova tells the children about the art of ancient Greece. A very beautiful and bright young woman. Children look at her with adoration and ask questions all the time. The soundless dialogue is so emotional that much can be understood without even knowing the language of gestures.

Victoria finished training courses for deaf guides at the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art. For two years now, the “garage” has been selecting ten participants in professional courses on a competitive basis and pays a scholarship to them. On the eve of “Inclusive Day”, Victoria conducted a certification tour of the constant exposition in the Plane, confirmed her qualifications and today tells the hearing impaired children about ancient statues, vases and architectural models of ancient Greek buildings.

After a tour of satisfied children, a master class was waiting for, where they collected Greek vases from paper pieces and glued them, the girls coped faster. While the guys were busy with vases, the guide Victoria told them about the plots depicted on ancient objects of art, and Greek myths.

In parallel with the master class in the museum, an excursion began with a tiflocommentary for visitors with the features of visual perception. Tiflocommentary is a detailed description of the guide of the art object, literally like this: “The sculpture of naked Eve, she just tasted the forbidden fruit and, in great embarrassment, tries to hide her nudity. The sculpture is slightly less than a meter high, carved from white marble. Eve covers the chest, and the face hides behind the hand bent at the elbow, the left knee is a little forward. If the sculpture could blush, it would certainly have happened to Eve. ”

The excursion is led by Olga Morozova, the head of the department of aesthetic education of children and youth. If you really carefully listen and close your eyes, it turns out to imagine a picture, although difficulties arise with the works of the Art Nouveau ...

Pushkin's Networks have long been actively participating in the Available Museum project. Since 2006, art therapy classes have been held for groups of people with a variety of features of psychological and physical development. Twice a month in the museum there are special excursions with typhlockommentary, and now excursions in the brutal language are also transferred to the regular basis.

The project coordinator Albina Dzhumaeva says:

“Of course, all this is not in perfect condition. But already huge changes. We began to create tactile layouts for the visually impaired. These are embossed copies of paintings that can be touched with your hands, with labels made using the brail font.

We are preparing layouts for the largest exhibitions during the year and are now working on layouts for the constant exposition of the art gallery in Europe and America of the XIX - XX centuries. Just “garage” has released a course of guides in the brutal language, we still do not have the opportunity to take such a guide to the state, but we plan to constantly cooperate with invited guides.

Victoria today made a huge impression on the guys and their parents. The building is an object of cultural heritage, changing something here is very difficult, but everything possible is done for the convenience of visitors with mobility restrictions. ”

The museum employees are instructed to work with people with the characteristics of physical and mental development. Rights and cashiers are trained in basic skills of a brutal language. Inclusion in Russia is at the beginning of its path. Thanks to promotions such as “Museum for everyone”, children and adults communicated with art today, each with their own characteristics, like all of us.
