1987 Restriction of registration of Crimean Tatars in Crimea

30 years ago, on December 4, 1987, the Council of Ministers of the USSR adopted a resolution "On limiting the registration of citizens in certain settlements of the Crimean region and the Krasnodar Territory." Not a word was said about the Crimean Tatars in the text of the decree. However, local administrative bodies applied restrictions only to Crimean Tatars.
