A court in Cheboksary returned to the police the case against activist Vyacheslav Rybakov, initiated because of a picture on the social network, reports Idel . Realities".
The activist spent the night at the police station. On the morning of December 4, he was released. Rybakov said that after that the police went to his house.
“Not only did I just spend the night in a cell without food and water, but they illegally decided to conduct an inspection in my apartment. They wanted to find proof that the Facebook page belongs to me. I didn’t let the police into the apartment, after which they made two protocols and left,” the activist said.
Rybakov was detained on December 3. At first, the police wanted to draw up a protocol against him because of a Facebook post with a call to come to the “March of Millions” action, which will be held in mid-December in Moscow. Later it turned out that the police had complaints about the picture posted on Rybakov's page. It depicts President Vladimir Putin with Nazi symbols on his forehead. A protocol was drawn up against the activist under Part 1 of Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (public display of Nazi symbols).
Vyacheslav Rybakov was repeatedly detained due to single-person pickets and protocols were drawn up against him under Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the procedure for holding a public event). In October, he was summoned to the Investigative Committee, where they threatened to file a case against him under Article 212.1 of the Criminal Code (repeated violation of the established procedure for organizing or holding a meeting, rally, demonstration, march or picket).
