
The Industrialovsky District Court of the Kemerovo Region sentenced a man who is convicted of fraud with pension payments. For more than two years, the attacker received deductions for his father, whose death he hid from officials. The damage amounted to hundreds of thousands of rubles.
The court sentenced the scammaker in the form of 2.5 years in prison with a probation period of two years, the official website of the regional prosecutor's office reports. The court also satisfied the claims in favor of the Topkin post office and recovered 731 thousand rubles from the convicted person.
As follows from the materials of the criminal case, from July 2014 to February 2017, a resident of the village of Industrialnaya "monthly received an old -age pension and other compensation payments appointed to his father." The attacker also received a payment for a disabled citizen.
Meanwhile, it was established that back in June 2014, the 87-year-old father of the convict died. However, the son of a pensioner "did not inform the employees of the postage of death and continued to receive a pension." He presented his father’s passport and fraudulently took money.
Only in 2017 was the deception revealed. By that time, the amount of damage reached 734 thousand rubles.
In November, the court found the man guilty of committing a crime under Part 3 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Large -scale fraud"). He was threatened with a punishment in the form of six years in prison.

A similar criminal case was opened in the Magadan region, as reported by employees of the RF IC. According to them, a 44-year-old resident of the village of Talai Khasynsky city district hid the fact of the death of her mother, after which she illegally received more than 450 thousand rubles from the pension fund in 1.5 years.
On October 11, 2017, in the village of Talai, in connection with the conduct of emergency works of the sanitation system at the place of residence, the body of an elderly woman was discovered. A random find and allowed to reveal the crime.
Investigators found out that back in March 2016, the pensioner’s daughter found her dead in the apartment. However, the woman decided not to inform anyone about the death of her mother, including law enforcement agencies and social institutions.
"Having a notarized power of attorney from her mother to receive a pension, the suspects suspected for a year and a half hid the fact of her death, but monthly received an insurance pension for her in the post office of the village," wrote the news agency Magadanmedia.ru .
In total, the woman abducted the money management money of the Russian Pension Fund in Magadan in the amount of over 467 thousand rubles.
The suspect was charged with Part 3 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Large -scale fraud").
