
The crew of the International Space Station (ISS) for the first time in history in zero gravity prepared pizza under the leadership of the Italian astronaut of the European Space Agency (Eka) Paolo Neropoli. It is reported by Yahoo with reference to AP.
“Nepopoli prepared pizza with artichokes, and we are more classic options: pepperoni, cheese and garlic pasta,” said the Russian cosmonaut Sergei Ryazansky, who at that moment at the ISS (quote for TASS).

According to him, the preparation of one of the most famous dishes of Italian cuisine in the orbit of the Earth was not originally part of his plans. All the necessary ingredients were on board the Cygnus transport cargo ship, which successfully fastened to board the ISS on November 14.
