Petersburger sued a million at the communal workers for a balcony falling on her head

A resident of the Kolpinsky district of St. Petersburg sued compensation for injuries for injuries received during the collapse of the Old Balcony.

The Krasnogvardeisky District Court of the City on the Neva made a decision to recover non -pecuniary damage in the amount of 1.2 million rubles from LLC Zhilkomservice N1 of the Kolpinsky District. The corresponding writ of execution was received by the interdistrict department for the execution of especially important enforcement proceedings of the FSSP of Russia in St. Petersburg, the Nevsky News report.

The incident in question occurred two years ago. On Oktyabrskaya Street, a concrete balcony slab collapsed from a height of the sixth floor to a 23-year-old woman who was in a late pregnancy. The victim was hospitalized with an open traumatic brain injury, it was overlaid 10 seams, the News-R site said. The child, fortunately, was not injured.

In order to fulfill the court decision, the communal workers had to sell property that had previously been seized. The employee, who had previously underestimated the condition of the balcony, received two years in prison and paid for the injured treatment.
