The lawyer spoke about falsification in the second Bakhchisarai case of Hizb ut-Tahrir

The lawyer of the person involved in the Bakhchisaray case of Hizb ut-Tahrir, Server Zekiryaev, Aleksey Ladin, told Crimea. Realities” that the investigation was falsified.

“In the materials of the criminal case there is such a key document as the decision to bring my client Server Zekiryaev as an accused. So, initially in this decision there was a surname not of my client, but of another person. Now, having familiarized myself with the materials of the case, I saw that one sheet on the involvement as an accused has been replaced and there is already the name of my client. The investigator called it a technical error. It turns out that you can arrest any person, enter his name in the materials of the criminal case and send him to a pre-trial detention center, ”Aleksey Ladin told the publication.

The lawyer said that Zekiryaev did not confess. According to Ladin, this is the reason why the court does not change the measure of restraint to house arrest.

• On October 11, searches were carried out in the homes of six Crimean Tatars. One of them is accused of organizing terrorist activities (part 1 of article 205.5 of the Criminal Code), five, including Server Zekiryaev, of participating in terrorist activities (part 2 of article 205.5 of the Criminal Code).

Lawyer Aleksey Ladin tried to challenge the court's decision, but the Supreme Court of Crimea did not place Zekiryaev under house arrest, despite the fact that he has twelve children. * Hizb ut-Tahrir was declared a terrorist group by the decision of the Supreme Court. However, a number of experts from human rights organizations, including the SOVA Center, believe that there are no grounds for this - members of Hizb ut-Tahrir were not seen to be involved in the commission or preparation of terrorist attacks.
