I understand that it is very risk, taking up such a difficult topic as a discussion of the role of social sciences. But, as one ancient Greek philosopher said, "Plato is a friend to me, but truth is more expensive." Frankly, the approach, which is not very popular in our time, is not at all popular in our time. We are used to choosing a side of friends in everything, everywhere to look for our benefits. And the truth ... Well, what is the truth, what a lot about it and who needs it?

To tell the truth, the ancient Greeks were easier than us: the warm climate of Greece allowed them to live even in a barrel, and then the mores allowed to ask the Lord to move away and not to close the sun. We have a more severe climate, and the mores are completely different: in winter we will have to attach at least any heating main, but will not let the FSO close to a high-ranking figure. Nevertheless, it is necessary to state the fact that ancient philosophers had a view of things worthy of respect. And with such a look, they began to lay the foundations of a scientific approach to the knowledge of the world.

Socrates, Plato, Aristotle - these names sound proudly, proudly sounded in antiquity and the word “philosopher”. Now it’s a completely different matter: in the circles of mathematicians, physicists and even chemists with biologists to social sciences, the attitude is very condescending, if not neglecting. Philosophers, they say, talkers, and economists, lawyers and teachers unite the offensive nickname “Equurpedies”, forgetting that the country is led by a lawyer with the degree of candidate of economic sciences.

So, dear colleagues, representatives of natural and exact sciences, it is time for us to abandon our natural science chauvinism and stop imagining ourselves with navels of the Earth, the greatest minds of our time. Let's look around: why, if we are so smart, they rule the country - and rule successfully! - Lawyers and economists? Why, if we are so smart, are we so poor?

Well, that is, as poor ... Thanks to the vigilant care of the party and the government, thanks to the May decrees of our beloved president, ours, researchers and teachers, the salary should soon amount to 200% of the average. For Moscow, this is a very significant amount - more than 130 thousand rubles. per month. To tell you the truth, while my salary and the salary of my colleagues in the department significantly do not reach this value. But we understand that we are only talking about average values, and not about everyone’s income, and rejoice for those who contribute to their achievement.

But still, if we compare our income with the income of Moscow State University’s income, who are engaged in public sciences, then ... what's the income of employees, it is enough to see the students of some social and humanitarian faculties, and compare them with cars on which employees of Mehmat, physical faculty, etc. go.

In general, both the money and the future of the country in their hands, and this is true: it is they who are engaged in the sciences of society, which are now most importantly, issue recommendations for the distribution and redistribution of funds in this society. And here, frankly, there is also a large backlog for work, to which we can attach our hands by solving almost significant tasks.

We could not help but pay attention to some posts of recent times. Values ​​for almost ten billion (cash, real estate objects, etc.), withdrawn from the former colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Zakharchenko, were turned into state revenue. Solid money! But we are lagging behind our Saudi oil brothers: there were a lot of princes, and only one of them, the former head of the National Guard, introduced a billion dollars to the budget in exchange for liberation.

I think that there is a matter of leaving funds from rich Pinocchio put on a serious basis. And everything is going on the old fashioned way. Instead of scolding representatives of social sciences and these sciences themselves, we could put and solve the problem of redistributing funds by the methods of accurate sciences. Not in the style of a spherical horse in a vacuum, but in a practical way. How many colonels and generals of which departments, how many officials, heads of state corporations need to be brought under confiscation of property so that the country receives a balanced budget. We will solve such a problem - and then they will begin to respect us in the government and the Ministry of Finance. Then no one can say that we are darmoists.
