The DJ-director of the site “Theory and Practice” Inna German, the editor-in-chief of the INRUSSIA and SYG.MA project Furkat Palvanzade and the author of the book “Catching out! The guide for mental disorders in the big city ”(Enlightener-2017 Award) Daria Varlamova launched a platform for communicating with psychotherapists Sreda.io.
Visitors to the Sreda.io site can ask their question and get the answer of one or more experts: psychotherapists, clinical psychologists, coach and consultants, getting the opportunity to compare the methods and approaches of different specialists. You can contact each of them directly through the profile on the site.
In addition, detailed materials on topical issues of psychology will be published on Sreda.io .
The list of psychotherapists participating in the project is formed together with members of the Expert Council, including the director of the Cognitive therapy Center Yakov Kochetkov, a specialist of the Center for Narrative Psychology Vyacheslav Moskvichev and the head of the laboratory of advisory psychology and psychotherapy of the Psychological Institute of RAO Natalya Kiselnikova.
They also help create a verification system that will vary depending on the school and the specialization of a potential expert.
“Our team has extensive experience on media, educational and cultural projects. We see that the audience now has a giant request for information about yourself and your problems, about how you can work with them. Even educated and intelligent people, our friends, know very little about psychotherapy - the field of psychological assistance is still as stigmatized as possible. There is a need for an elementary educational program - however, there are no examples of modern sites that would satisfy this request - neither from the point of view of design, or from the point of view of the language, we did not suit us. We want to Destigmatization of this topic and show that psychological problems can and should work, ”the founders of the project say.
“Our site is more open platform for communication than an application for personal consultations,” they say. “But everyone can ask an expert’s question, including anonymously.” Do not forget that about 50% of people with depression do not receive any treatment at all, because this area of work with their health is extremely stigmatized. ”
