At the opening of the festival, the film by Askold Kurov “The Process” (Estonia-Chekhiy-Polsha, 2017) about the case of Ukrainian director Oleg Sentsov, convicted in Russia for terrorism, will be shown.
The competitive program participates 21 film - Russian premieres of Russian non -game films and foreign paintings in Russian. This year, in addition to Russian cinema, the competition presents the work of filmmakers from Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Guatemala, Germany, Denmark, Israel, Canada, Latvia, the Netherlands, Romania, the USA, Ukraine and France.
Also in the schedule of the festival are out -of -competition programs “Wednesday”, “From A to A” , “Our”, “After the Union.Doc”, “Paradocs” and special pauses .
"Artdokfest-2017" will last until December 12. The jury of the festival includes Honored Teacher of Russia, winner of the first competition “Leader of Education of Russia”, director of the Moscow Class Center Moscow School Sergey Kazarnovsky (chairman of the jury), journalist, designer, editor-in-chief of the Mesonin magazine Natalya Barbier, journalist and actress Vera Poluzkova.
