
The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine announced the wanted list of the Leader of the Party of New Forces, the ex-governor of the Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili. This was reported by the press secretary of the Prosecutor General Larisa Sargan.
"The search for Saakashvili, suspected of committing a crime under part 1 of article 15, part 2 of article 28, part 2 of article 256 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, was announced to operational units of the National Police and the SBU," Sargan wrote.
Thus, Saakashvili is charged with an attempt to assist the participants of criminal organizations committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy.
At about 6 a.m., on Wednesday, the security forces attempted to storm the tent town of Saakashvili supporters in the Mariinsky Park in the center of Kiev. Several dozen law enforcement officers entered the camp and tried to find politics there. There were clashes between the police and participants in the action, the security forces used tear gas. The camp said that people were injured during the clashes.
The police explained the clashes "measures for the search and detention of Saakashvili." "Activists began to resist and provoke law enforcement officers. As a result, law enforcement orders were strengthened under the Verkhovna Rada," the Kiev department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted . Four police officers suffered. There were no detentions.

On Tuesday morning, employees of the Prosecutor General and Security Service of Ukraine came to Saakashvili’s apartment with a search and tried to detain him . Saakashvili was put in a car. However, his supporters blocked the car. After the unsuccessful attempt of the National Guard to push the protesters, some of the activists began to build barricades.
A few hours later, the protesters broke the windows in the SBU minibus, where Saakashvili was located and pulled out a politician from the car. Saakashvili along with supporters went towards Independence Square. Then Saakashvili supporters began the rally of the Verkhovna Rada.
Meanwhile, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuri Lutsenko said that he had a record of the telephone conversation of Saakashvili and Sergey Kurchenko, a fugitive ally of the ex-president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych. Saakashvili and Kurchenko allegedly agreed on cooperation.
On Monday, the security forces arrested the head of the Kyiv regional branch of the "Movement of the New Forces" of Severion Dangadze. The prosecutor's office claims that he ", in agreement with the Saakashvili himself, turned through the proxy to Kurchenko, which is hiding from law enforcement agencies in Moscow, with a proposal to financing Saakashvili's activities in exchange for the interests of members of the criminal group."
Saakashvili himself rejects all the accusations. “I don’t know who Kurchenko is. I didn’t communicate with him, I don’t know how he looks and I have nothing in common (with him). I know Putin, I could make my audio with Putin,” the politician at the rally said .
