In the Kursk region, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against the director of the boarding school, who, having learned about sexual violence against a 10-year-old pupil by her deputy, did not take the necessary actions and "limited herself to an oral conversation."

According to the Investigative Committee, the director learned about the crime from one of the tutors. According to the investigators, the head of the boarding school did not turn to the police or guardianship authorities, but only talked to a man who denied the fact of the incident.

The woman is charged under the article “negligence” (Part 1 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). As a result of her actions, according to the UK, her deputy committed the same crime against another child.

She has been suspended from work for the duration of the investigation.

The 47-year-old deputy director of this institution, as reported by the Investigative Committee in November, is accused of crimes against the sexual integrity of pupils - two girls, 10 and 13 years old. According to the investigators, he took advantage of the fact that the girls were "in a helpless state due to adolescence, his physical superiority and the presence of mental disorders."
