FSB: Three terrorists were killed in Stavropol

In Stavropol on Saturday night, three militants were killed as a result of a counter -terrorist operation, preparing terrorist shares. This was stated in the regional department of the FSB, RIA Novosti reports

A private house where the militants took refuge, and the territory adjacent to it was cordoned off. Citizens living in nearby buildings were evacuated.

The militants were offered to lay down their weapons and surrender, but they tried to break the cordon and hide. As a result, a battle ensued. Two militants died in a shootout, the third - during an explosion in the house.

During the operation, neither law enforcement officers nor local residents suffered. Nothing threatens the life and health of citizens, they assured the FSB. In the morning, the mode is canceled.

Later, a law enforcement source announced the identification of the dead. These are the natives of Chechnya, Dagestan and Stavropol I. G. Amurbekov, A. V. Dzhamaldinov and M.V. Galits.

According to the source, they planned terrorist attacks on the New Year holidays in Stavropol.
