The English singer and guitarist Chris Ri lost consciousness during his own concert in Oxford on the evening of December 9.
According to The Guardian, during the performance of one of the songs, the 66-year-old musician suddenly grabbed the microphone and fell. The concert was interrupted, and the singer was urgently sent to the hospital. According to doctors, his condition is evaluated as “stable”.
A year ago, Chris Ri suffered a stroke, but continued to engage in musical activities. In September 2017, he released a new, 24th in his career, album "Road Songs for Lovers". The concert in Oxford became the 35th of 37 planned performances within the framework of his large European tour in support of the record. In November, the musician gave two concerts in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
