Update. The leader of the SERB movement, Igor Beketov, told Interfax that the police detained him and two other activists for disrupting a show in October.
On December 10, during the screening of a film about the war in Ukraine, unknown supporters of pro-Russian separatists burst into the hall at the Artdocfest festival in Moscow and disrupted the event. The incident took place at the Oktyabr cinema shortly after the start of the showing of the documentary film Flight of the Bullet, directed by Beata Bubenets.
According to eyewitnesses, people who burst into the cinema blocked the screen with shouts of “There will be no film against the Russians!”, spilled an odorous liquid and began to threaten the audience. After some time, the offenders were taken out of the hall by the police to the applause of the visitors of the session.
After the incident, the head of the festival, Vitaly Mansky, announced to the audience that the show would not take place.
