OVD-Info publishes a preliminary list of people persecuted in connection with Maltsev’s “revolution”. The list includes only those people about whom OVD-Info has at least some information. Information is being updated. Currently, some of the information needs to be updated and corrected.

Moscow

1. Vyacheslav Maltsev
Criminal case on the organization of a terrorist community (Part 1 of Article 205.4 of the Criminal Code). A case has also been opened against Maltsev for organizing an extremist community (Part 1 of Article 282.1 of the Criminal Code) and
public calls for extremist activity (Part 1 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code).
Escaped, whereabouts unknown.

2. Alexander Svishchev
Criminal case of participation in a terrorist community (Part 2 of Article 205.4 of the Criminal Code).
Escaped, whereabouts unknown.

3. Yuri Korny
Criminal case of participation in a terrorist community (Part 2 of Article 205.4 of the Criminal Code). He is also suspected of preparing a terrorist attack by a group of people (part 1 of article 30, paragraph “a”, part 2 of article 205 of the Criminal Code).
Arrested until December 23, pre-trial detention center No. 5 “Vodnik”.

4. Andrey Keptya
Criminal case of participation in a terrorist community (Part 2 of Article 205.4 of the Criminal Code). He is also suspected of preparing a terrorist attack by a group of people (part 1 of article 30, paragraph “a”, part 2 of article 205 of the Criminal Code).
Arrested until December 23, pre-trial detention center No. 5 “Vodnik”.

5. Nadezhda Petrova
Criminal case of participation in a terrorist community (Part 2 of Article 205.4 of the Criminal Code).
She disappeared, her whereabouts are unknown.

6. Andrey Tolkachev
Criminal case of participation in a terrorist community (Part 2 of Article 205.4 of the Criminal Code). He is also suspected of preparing a terrorist attack by a group of people (part 1 of article 30, paragraph “a”, part 2 of article 205 of the Criminal Code).
Arrested until December 23, pre-trial detention center No. 4 “Bear”. As of December 12, he was transferred to the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center.
He does not admit guilt.

7. Sergey Ozerov (from Arzamas, Nizhny Novgorod region)
Detained on November 1 in an apartment in New Moscow.
A criminal case on the commission of a terrorist attack by an organized group (clause “a” of Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code) and participation in a terrorist community (Part 2 of Article 205.4 of the Criminal Code).
Arrested until April 16, pre-trial detention center No. 2 “Butyrka”.

8. Oleg Dmitriev (from Almetyevsk, Tatarstan)
Detained on November 1 in an apartment in New Moscow.
A criminal case on the commission of a terrorist attack by an organized group (clause “a” of Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code) and participation in a terrorist community (Part 2 of Article 205.4 of the Criminal Code).
Arrested until April 16, pre-trial detention center No. 2 “Butyrka”.

9. Oleg Ivanov (from Almetyevsk, Tatarstan)
Detained on November 1 in an apartment in New Moscow.
A criminal case on the commission of a terrorist attack by an organized group (clause “a” of Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code) and participation in a terrorist community (Part 2 of Article 205.4 of the Criminal Code).

10. Sergey Shcheglov (from Irkutsk)
They were detained on November 2 on the street near the Kievsky railway station.
There is no other information at the moment.

11. Alexey Prolygin (from Irkutsk)
They were detained on November 2 on the street near the Kievsky railway station.

12. Sergey Samygin
His photograph, along with others arrested in connection with involvement in Artpodgotovka, appeared in the Kremlin Laundress telegram chat .
Relatives are looking for him.
There is no other information at the moment.

13. A case was also opened regarding the use of violence against a representative of the authorities (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code), the accused was arrested.

According to unconfirmed reports, ten to twelve more people are detained in Moscow, persecuted in connection with the “revolution” of November 5.

Kazan

14. Oleg Detkin
A criminal case of inciting hatred or enmity committed by an organized group (clause “c” of Part 2 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code).
Arrested until January 29, is in pre-trial detention center.

Krasnoyarsk

15. Alexander Zaitsev
Head of the Krasnoyarsk branch of Artpodgotovka.
Criminal case of recruitment to participate in mass riots (Part 1.1 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code).
Under pressure, he admitted guilt and signed an agreement with the investigation that the case would be tried in court in a special manner, that is, without examining the evidence. The case has been separated into separate proceedings.
Arrested and in jail.

16. Roman Maryan
Criminal case of preparation for participation in mass riots (Article 30, Part 2, Article 212 of the Criminal Code).
Arrested and in jail.
He does not admit guilt.

17. Petr Isaev (18 years old)
Criminal case of preparation for participation in mass riots (Article 30, Part 2, Article 212 of the Criminal Code).
Under pressure he admitted guilt.
He is in a pre-trial detention center.

(Previously, it was erroneously reported that Oksana Pokhodun was also in a pre-trial detention center in Krasnoyarsk on charges of preparing to participate in mass riots; this information turned out to be incorrect. A case of incitement of hatred was opened against Oksana Pokhodun in June, and she was given a written undertaking not to leave.)

Saratov

18. Sergey Ryzhov
A criminal case has been opened regarding preparation to commit a terrorist attack (Part 1, Article 30, Part 1, Article 205 of the Criminal Code). Previously, it was also reported that a case had been opened against Ryzhov under the article of inciting hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity (Article 282 of the Criminal Code), but this information was not confirmed.
Arrested until April 2.
On December 1, he was transported from Saratov to Moscow and is in the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center.
He does not admit guilt.

19. Fedor Martynov
A criminal case on the illegal production of explosives (Part 1 of Article 223.1 of the Criminal Code).
Arrested.

Arrested on November 9 for two months and is in pre-trial detention.

Criminal case of calls for terrorism (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code).
Arrested until January 3, is in pre-trial detention center.

Volgograd

22. Anatoly Boltykhov
Sent for compulsory psychiatric examination. This decision was later reversed .

Petersburg

23. Mikhail Voitenkov
A criminal case of possession of weapons by a group of persons (part 1 of article 35, part 2 of article 222 of the Criminal Code).
He is under recognizance not to leave.

24. Ilyas Minikaev

Presumably he is involved in a criminal case for participation in mass riots (Part 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code).

30. Vladislav Mordasov
Detained at the exit from the special detention center.
Criminal case for participation in mass riots (Part 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code).
He admitted guilt and also admitted that he called for mass riots.

Legal assistance

Neither OVD-Info nor other human rights organizations currently provide legal assistance to most of the people listed above, primarily due to extremely scant information about the circumstances of their cases. The criteria for providing legal assistance from OVD-Info can be found here .

UPD Information about those involved in the case of a terrorist community in Penza has been removed from the publication. The defendants in the case are not Maltsev’s supporters, as previously reported, but anti-fascists and anarchists. Apparently, the investigation does not connect them with Maltsev.
