Janitors from Vnukovo spoke out against non-payment of wages. They were threatened with dismissal

On Monday, janitors staged a picket near the building of the State Budgetary Institution Zhilischnik in the Vnukovo district of Moscow. They demanded to pay them arrears in wages. The leadership of Zhilischnik threatened the protesters with dismissal and called the police, three of them were detained. Writes about this "Open Russia".

On the morning of December 11, the janitors refused to go to work and went to the Zhilischnik building. The workers demanded the payment of salaries, which the institution gives out only partially. At the GBU, the protesters were told that it was worth waiting for the leadership to discuss the problem.

The janitors made a concession and returned to the Zhilischnik building in the afternoon. When they arrived, they began to take them to different brigades and called the police, who detained three workers and took them to the Vnukovo police department. However, one of the police officers told Open Russia that no one was detained: “People themselves are going to write an explanation about this. I can’t accept their application without a notification ticket.”

Later, the leadership nevertheless met with the protesters and gave them an ultimatum: if they continue to strike, they can quit.

According to the publication, the detained janitors were released.
