So they suspended the case for three months ago," the lawyer said.

Many companies are always involved in restoration work, Fyodor Kupriyanov explained the lawyer of the former deputy minister of culture Grigory Pirumov. “I suppose the case can be suspended, because it is not clear who was responsible for what.”

In March 2016, the Investigative Committee initiated the theft of theft during the restoration of the Izborsk fortress under part 4 of Article 159 (fraud on especially large sizes). According to his plot, out of 294.4 million rubles allocated Ministry of Culture, 88.5 million were paid for work that were never carried out, and 5.9 million for duplicate work.

The theft during the construction of the Izborsk fortress was mentioned as an episode in the "case of restorers", the defendants of which were pirumov, his subordinates and a number of businessmen. However, according to the lawyer Tsagolov, the accused never incriminated this episode. Theft in Izborsk was not mentioned either in the indictment or in the sentence.

According to the plot of the “Restorer case”, in 2012 Pirumov formed a group whose participants made state contracts with an inflated cost of services for the implementation of restoration work. We are talking about the money allocated for the restoration of the Novodevichy Monastery in Moscow, the drama theater in Pskov, the John-Baptist Monastery in the capital, the museum of astronautics in Kaluga, the Aseev’s estate in Tambov and the Friedrich Great Fortress in Kaliningrad.

All the defendants in the case pleaded guilty and compensated for the imputed damage. The trial was carried out in a special order. On October 9, the Dorogomilovsky District Court of Moscow, Galina Talalanina, appointed five defendants in the “restorers' case” the real terms, already served in the pre -trial detention center before the sentence. Pirumov received a year and a half of the general regime. Koshenov, ex-director of the State Center for Contemporary Art Mikhail Mindlin and businessman Andrei Kokushkin, received conditional terms.

On July 20, the same Dorogomilovsky district court gave five years conditionally with a fine of 800 thousand rubles another person involved in the case - businessman Nikita Kolesnikov. The defendant also went to the pre-trial agreement and compensated him for 15 millionth damage imputed to him.

On August 28, the Kuibyshevsky District Court of St. Petersburg sentenced the same case on the same case to the four and a half years and the 800 thousandth fine of the Balticrea CEO Dmitry Sergeyev. The businessman was freed from custody in the courtroom. However, immediately the verdict ofSergeev was detained by the FSB . He was brought to Moscow and again arrested - now in the case of embezzlement of at least 225 million rubles allocated from the budget for the construction of a house of receptions in the residence of Vladimir Putin in Novo -Ogarev.
