Opposition politician Alexei Navalny, a year after declaring his intention to fight for the presidency of Russia, published his election program .
“My election program is from the people. I have held more rallies, meetings with voters and just conversations than all the other candidates combined. People talk about their problems, I consult with experts and offer solutions. This is how the program is born. It is the subject of constant discussion and development. This is a live program,” Navalny writes in his opening remarks.
The program states that, upon becoming president, Navalny will raise the minimum wage to 25,000 rubles. for a maximum of five years. He intends to reduce mortgage rates to 2% and establish a special anti-corruption structure that is not part of the law enforcement system.
As noted in the program, the fight against corruption is the main structural reform in both the political and economic spheres. Without its success, other reforms will not have the desired effect.
