On Wednesday, the head of Roskomnadzor, Alexander Zharov, said that the department sent requirements with the blocking of the pages of Open Russia to the leadership of four social networks.

On Tuesday, RKN blocked access to the Open Russia sites . At the same time, the resource administrators did not receive any notifications of blocking. In addition, the administration of the social network "Odnoklassniki" blocked the Open Russia group. The reason for the lock was called a certain "violation of the regulations." Other explanations in the press service of "Odnoklassniki" were not given movement.

The Prosecutor General’s Office and RKN was regarded by the service administration as “political pressure to freedom of speech”.
