In the Kremlin, they do not run telegram channels themselves, but others read and analyze them. The main conclusions are reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was stated by the press secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov.
“We don't run telegram channels, we read them. We are trying to analyze them, and, of course, we report this analysis to the president. We are compiling separate digests of telegram channels... This is a new phenomenon. We are debating whether this is a progressive development in terms of the media or is it a regressive development, ” Interfax quotes Peskov .
Peskov noted that the quality of information distributed in Telegram suffers, but the speed of its delivery to the consumer is high.
“Still, I am not a supporter of such a high speed, but more thoughtful, more verified, more analytical and solid information ... But we live in a time when information is a lot of money, this is a huge political influence, so the speed increases many times”, Peskov said.
