Alexander Mamut unites Cinema Park and Formula Kino networks with Rambler & Co Internet holding and Azbuka-Atticus publishing house. According to Kommersant , the company's projected revenue will be 25 billion rubles. It will be headed by Roman Linin.
The companies are merging operationally and at the level of legal entities, the merger will be completed in 2018. Alexander Mamut, who now manages Rambler & Co as CEO, will be chairman of the board of directors of the combined company.
Cinema Park and Formula Kino are the largest cinema chains in Russia. Rambler & Co includes the websites Rambler.ru, Lenta.ru, Gazeta.ru, Afisha.ru, Championat.com, the Rambler.Kassa service, 50% of the software developer for cinemas and restaurants UCS, etc., and by the end of 2018 the company plans to launch an online cinema. "Azbuka-Atticus" is the third publishing house in the Russian Federation after the "Eksmo-AST" group and publishing textbooks "Enlightenment".
