In 2017, the greenhouse of social technologies worked in 8 cities: St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, Perm, Kazan, Novosibirsk and Irkutsk. We tell you what new projects, communities appeared in these cities.
Mobile application of the year
In Kazan, in September 2017, the Charry instant donations service launched. In the application, you can choose a charity fund in your region and transfer funds to it into one click. Charry does not act as a financial intermediary: the transfer goes through Sberbank with a commission of 2%.
Monetization of the project is built on a subscriber board with NGOs for the use of a content site. When creating a promotion for the collection of NGO funds, reports on the events are posted.

Regional hackathons
In Nizhny Novgorod, on July 1 and 2, 2017 , IT & City Hackathon was held for Android developers. It was a joint event of the Yandek and Nizhny Novgorod community Google Developer Group .
The applications created by participants were evaluated in the nominations:
- The most useful project. The project "Good Deeds" , created for those who want to do something useful for the city, but do not always have the opportunity.
- Best UX. ASTA application project, which allows you to create a map of interesting stories about the city.
- The most fan project. The Closed Card application , which shows where and how to walk in its city.
- The most innovative project (for the use of the latest technologies). The project of a social network for bitboxer musicians. The application will allow musicians to create and edit tracks and exchange them.
- Award of the audience sympathy. The “Red button” application for people who have fallen in a difficult situation, when you need to urgently call for help.
At the moment, projects are under development.
Within the framework of the European Week and Youth Initiative of Meet and Code in Ulyanovsk, on October 21-22, 2017, the Literary Hakaton "Word.Web" was held.
The winners were two teams with the prototype of the Literary Pin-Pon mobile application and the site motivating for reading. Among other ideas were noted: a site with a chat where you can discuss a work; a chatbot that offers quotes from literary works; The idea of creating an interactive novel.
Communities and exchange economics
In Penza, Perm and Nizhny Novgorod, communities created on the principle of the exchange economy, or Sharing Economy are gaining popularity.
- The “good cabinet” project is a social project in Penza, created in 2017 to exchange children's things, toys and clothes. This exchange does not occur directly, but through volunteers who sort things and “put them” in a “good cabinet”.
- In Nizhny Novgorod, at the end of December, a social store opens - a used “sphere of things” . The creators of the store are the Nizhny Novgorod Youth Ecological Organization "Change the World" , which has been holding freemarkets at different venues of the city since 2013.

The success of the year
A graduate of the Perm Polytechnic University, the creator of Promobot Oleg Kivokantsev entered the international rating of successful entrepreneurs under 30, according to Forbes magazine.
Promobot is an autonomous service robot for business. It is intended to work in public places: it helps people with navigation, communicates, answers any questions, translates promotional materials and remembers everyone with whom he communicated. - “Initiative Map” is an online site that unites caring citizens and business for the implementation of social and cultural initiatives of the inhabitants of Tatarstan. At the moment, 80 percent of all initiatives are created by authors from Kazan. In the future, the project will expand for other cities. Each project has a curator, and the organizers offer their media resources to write texts to attract the attention of the audience to the problem.

Cultural project of the year
