
The Investigative Committee initiated the theft of more than 500 million budget funds allocated by the RSC Energia to the Center for the simulator and training of personnel (TSTIPP), Rosbalt reports with reference to a source in law enforcement agencies. This center develops and creates most of the equipment for the preparation of astronauts.
Funds were intended for the development and release of innovative complexes of the preparation of astronauts for non -combined work in near -Earth orbit in open space, and in a penalty - for activities on the surfaces of the moon, Mars and asteroids.
TsTIPP attracted Mercury CJSC, which was transferred over half a billion rubles as a subcontractor. According to the investigation, then money received money, one-day companies, after which they were cashed.
The co -owner and head of Mercury Alexander Polyakov served in the Ministry of Defense for many years, where he was responsible for interaction with the RSC "Energia" and the Russian Space Systems holding.
Currently, the Ostankino District Court of Moscow is considering the case against Polyakov and his deputy. They are accused of embezzlement of 367 million rubles of budget money allocated by the RKS to their enterprise, the plant of missile and space instrumentation (RCP), for the production of units for spacecraft Glonass-M. According to investigators, the RCP translated the "Mercury" received from the RKS. At the same time, the leadership of Mercury was initially not going to carry out any work, since it did not have production capacities for this.

So, in 2013, the case was opened under part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code (fraud on an especially large scale) about the theft of more than 387 million rubles from the funds of the Glonass FCP “M2M Telematical LLC”. "It turned out that in 2012, the heads of M2M Telematics LLC, with the aim of stealing budget funds, including the RKS allocated as part of the GLONASS program, by deceiving and abuse of trust, under the guise of providing various services and performing work, performed fictitious financial transactions, transferring 387 million 580 thousand rubles controlled by them," the firms, "said the same Law enforcement agencies.
This case was connected with the case of the theft of GLONASS funds in the amount of over 565 million rubles . It was opened in the summer of 2012 under part 2 of Article 201 of the Criminal Code (abuse of powers, entailing grave consequences) against the leadership of the Russian Space Systems Corporation.
